A sweeping drive leads you to the impressive and luxurious privately-owned Rudding Park hotel, set in 300 acres of landscaped gardens and woodland. There is no doubt – this is one of most opulent hotels in Harrogate.
At the time of your arrival, you are greeted by members of staff who are professional in their approach. The hotel interior is smart and sophisticated, with modern influences and an attention to detail welcomed by the discerning traveller.
I stayed in a large, light and airy Spa room, a stunning, well-appointed room, giving me access to the spa and my very own private garden. The interior was thoughtfully designed and included a personal steam hamman experience, as well as luxurious Molton Brown toiletries. The contemporary design-led award-winning spa is, in my view, one of the most impressive, well thought-out spas in the county. It’s easy to see why it has won so many awards.
I decided to have the Radiance and Vitality Skin Brightening Facial, which left my skin smoother and brighter. The treatment ended with a gluten-free brownie – a nice touch! It is clear that a great deal of thought has gone into the spa experience, and it works. After my treatment
I headed for dinner, where I enjoyed a locally-sourced, tasty and well-executed meal.
